At Brecke Chiropractic Center we use the FDA approved Erchonia XLRS, low-level laser therapy (LLLT). Low level laser therapy is a non-invasive, fast and effective modality that has been proven in clinical trials.
The use of LLLT on its own or as an addition to other treatment regimens at Brecke Chiropractic Center is an excellent healing method for treating our patients’ needs and provides a great alternative to medication and surgery without any side-effects.
Lasers are designed to operate at a low wavelength and intensity to provide an array of healing benefits and can alleviate pain and symptoms associated with a variety of health conditions.
The Erchonia laser has many applications:
- Chronic back pain and low back pain
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Acne
- Neuropathy
- Tendonitis
- Mild to moderate arthritis
- Fibromyalgia
- Knee and elbow pain
- Increased energy
- Body Contouring
During treatment light energy is converted to chemical energy in the cell leading to an increase in cellular metabolism and a decrease in pain and inflammation.
Dr. Brecke’s assistant, Jules, will assist you with your therapy. The laser is held in place or moved gently over the treatment area. Treatment duration is from 2 to 20 minutes per session. The course of treatment is usually for 6-10 sessions, depending on the condition, severity and/or length of time the condition has been present. Many patients experience immediate relief, others feel relief after only a couple of treatments.
Most insurance companies do not cover laser therapy fees.
Note: Recent steroid use can minimize the benefits of laser therapy. Please inform Dr. Brecke or Jules of any steroid use in the past 6 months prior to therapy.
